This kit allows to invert the position of the front shackles on Suzuki Samurai or Sj, both on models with wide and short axles.
This modification improves the stability and driving precision on any ground type and helps to avoid the risk of bending the front leaf-springs as, in case of collision, they move back allowing to overcome the obstacle without bending.
It will also improve the angle of attack, since the front attack of the leaf-springs will move the axle on of 20mm, allowing also the use of larger tires with no need to use a body lift.
The standard installation of this kit requires the installation of rear leaf-springs higher than the front ones; if instead you have 4 leaf-springs of equal height, choose the version with 150mm rear shackles, otherwise choose the version with 120mm shackles.
The kit lifts up to 2" and includes:
- a kit of HM4X4 front turretts, with a profile designed to allow the front leaf springs to work without changing the angle of the original caster, made with 8mm thick C45 steel, galvanized and powder coated matt black mica;
- front Y shackles made with 6mm thick C45steel, galvanized and powder coated matte black mica with delrin bushings;
- rear front Boomerang shackles made with 8mm thick C45 steel, galvanized and powder coated, color matt black mica, opeable to facilitate mounting, with a bolted reinforcement aluminum bushing;
- centering bushings polyurethane kit for the chassis;
- mounting set complete with bushings, nuts, washers and bolts in stainless steel, A2-70 class, needed to be mounted on vehicles with large or tight axles.
