HD 4X10 SAE45 front propeller drive shaft competition for Canadian Samurai produced in Italy by a specialized company.
This particular drive shaft has the closed length identical to the original trees but has the possibility to stretch up to 7cm more than the original, so it is ideal on cars that mount our +11 set-ups.
These shafts are balanced at 2800 rpm and are built using high quality joints and crosses.
This particular shaft, designed to eliminate all vibration and any danger of breakage, is constructed by making the following improvements to the standard shafts:
- sliding joint with grease nipple, with a larger diameter than the original;
- ideal for raised setups, it avoids the insertion of extensions by canceling all forms of vibration;
- oversized and normalized crosses, therefore purchasable from any spare parts dealer, equipped with grease nipple, with working angle 10° higher than the original;
- high quality forged flanges that allow an inclination of the crosses up to 35° allowing them to be used even with raised setups;
- increased diameter tube, 60mm vs. 50mm of the original, carefully balanced to ward off all forms of vibration;
- slide up to 10cm with metal o-ring protection splash guard, allows for protection of the slide from damage caused by stones, sand and the like and preserves the slide from dirt.
