Suzuki Jimny steering damper
This kit includes the steering damper and the mounting kit with attachments to the frame. Made with a 50 mm reinforced body and 16 mm increased stem, it is suitable for both use in demanding competitions and for road use, as it does not harden the steering.
The steering damper for Jimny included in the kit, 100% Made in Italy, is electrolytically galvanized with an Iridescent white finish and subsequent trivalent chromium-based passivation to give it maximum resistance to corrosion and damage from atmospheric agents.
It is filled with high-quality ROTHEN hydraulic oil resistant up to 200 ° C, therefore ideal for both heavy use and desert raids, as it guarantees the maintenance of braking even in intense and prolonged use.
Jimny steering damper, eliminates Suzuki Jimny steering vibration and annoying Death Wobble
The brackets supplied with the Suzuki Jimny steering damper are shaped to be installed on all petrol and diesel models; the Jimny steering damper is fixed to the frame by means of a pair of brackets and to the primary steering bar thanks to the L-shaped bracket and the U-bolts supplied. This type of fixing is the most valid solution to solve the jimny steering vibration as it connects the frame, which is the only fixed part of the vehicle, to the point closest to the steering box and therefore to the steering wheel.
The shock absorber can be revised and adjusted according to your needs. The overhaul is guaranteed at a cost of 40.00 euros each for the entire life of the shock absorber.
It can be overhauled to maintain the right efficiency for life and recalibrate in case of special needs that change over time, such as extremely large tires, replacement of bridges, etc.

- double adjustment of rebound and compression settings, both at high and low speeds with preloaded travel reed valves with star springs in compression and helical spring in rebound;
- double seal with o-ring and oil seal with metal base, the high quality of the closure allows not to use the fork protectors that in the long run create accumulation of dirt and damage the shock absorber, any debris that settles on the stem is cleaned by the double lip of the metal oil seal;
- calibration on a 10-speed test bench, from 5 to 500 m/s to have perfect calibration in all conditions.
