Suzuki Jimny Front Radius Arms
These reinforced front radius arms, recommended for suspension lifts up to 7 cm, replace the original Suzuki Jimny arms without any modifications. They are the only radius arms that are galvanized and epoxy powder-coated, and their attachment points match perfectly with the original mounts.
Manufactured from high-quality steel designed for mechanical applications, their main load-bearing section consists of a single steel plate with perimeter reinforcements welded using TIG technology. This construction method creates an extremely durable I-beam structure capable of absorbing impacts without bending or deforming.
The original chassis-side bushing has been replaced by a fully rebuildable Johnny Joint spherical joint, specially developed in-house by HM4X4 specifically for the Jimny suspension.
The Johnny Joint is free to rotate along its axis, allowing maximum radius arm articulation, but its lateral rotation is limited to maintain road stability.
The Johnny Joint is constructed using C45 steel, and smooth rotation is ensured by two high-quality machined (not molded) semicrystalline polymer shells characterized by high mechanical strength and very low friction coefficients. These materials make the joint virtually wear-free even under extreme conditions, providing precise movement and excellent vibration damping.
Installation of these radius arms moves the front axle forward by 20 mm, improving stability through an extended wheelbase and significantly enhancing the approach angle. A 20 mm forward shift is the maximum achievable without irreversible axle modifications or the installation of overly thick bump stops, which would unnecessarily reduce suspension compression due to interference between the axle and the panhard bar bracket.
The caster angle has been corrected by 10° to compensate for axle rotation caused by suspension lifts, ensuring the driveshaft and, crucially, the steering linkage operate at correct angles.
Compatible with all Suzuki Jimny models, regardless of year of manufacture and engine type.
