This entirely Made in Italy suspension kit gives the car the same height as the new Jimny original suspension kit and it does not require any homologation.
The kit is designed to improve Jimny’s performance on road with original suspension and is reinforced to allow an heavy-duty use of the vehicle. The polyurethane bushings and the readjustable shock absorbers make this kit truly eternal!
The kit we offer consists of 4 progressive springs and 4 readjustable and rebuildable shock absorbers.
Our shock absorbers are realised with steel tubes for mechanical uses, completely lapped, phosphated to prevent corrosion and painted with epoxy powders, therefore they cannot be affected by atmospheric agents and coating does not get damaged.
Our polyurethane bushings are very resistant to deformation and wear; all the components are sintered to have the maximum control over the calibration and the seals are in graphite Teflon to improve smoothness and silence.
Inside the shock absorber there is a first internal bump stop in extension - resistant up to 5000kg - and a second polyurethane bump stop which slows down the last 10mm of stroke to avoid excessive stress of the frame’s supports. These shocks can be used as an excursion limit for the axle.
The springs included in the kit are progressive. This particular type of spring, during compression, gradually hardens, thus making the suspension kit extremely soft, comfortable and capable of copying the ground and ensuring high stability even on the road.
For this kit it is possible to choose the type of spring load:
• standard with calibration very similar to the original suspensions, excellent off-road performance and very stable on the road, ideal for multi-purpose use of the vehicle;
• reinforced with more rigid rear calibration to allow the loading of heavy weights or the towing of trolleys;
• with winch, if a winch or a heavy-duty bumper with a weight exceeding 20 kg is installed.
If it is necessary to customize the calibration to meet particular needs (desert trips, competitions, towing trolleys, use mainly on snow, etc.), we offer the first customized calibration for free within the first year of purchase.
