How to create the various textures:
FLAT AND CURLED TEXTURE
1. Apply a thick coat from a distance of 1 meter moving slowly in a constant and even motion, overlapping each pass to create a continuous layer.
2. Turn the can upside down and spray to clear the valve.
3. After 20 minutes, apply a second coat like the first.
4. Turn the can upside down and spray to clear the valve
Warning: Be careful that the application is not too heavy or there may be a heavy build up around the edges.
COARSE WAVY TEXTURE
1. Apply a thick coat from a distance of 1 meter, moving slowly steadily and evenly, overlap each pass to create a continuous film.
2. Turn the can upside down and spray to clear the valve.
3. After 20 minutes, apply a second, lighter coat at a greater distance moving faster.
4. Turn the can upside down and spray to clear the valve.
SMOOTH AND SILKY FINISH
1. Apply a light coat from a distance of 1 meter by moving quickly.
2. Turn the can upside down and spray to clear the valve.
3. After 20 minutes, apply a second coat like the first.
4. Turn the can upside down and spray to clear the valve.
MATTE ROUGH FINISH
1. Apply a continuous light coat from a distance of 1 meter until opacity is achieved
2. Turn the can upside down and spray to clear the valve.
3. After 20 minutes, apply a very light second coat from a greater distance to even out the texture.
4. Turn the can upside down and spray to clear the valve.
Chemical resistance of Raptor paint:
- Diesel: no effect
- Petrol: surface softening
- Xylene: surface softening
- Hydraulic oil: no effect
- NaOH: no effect
- Bleach: no effect
- Alcohol: no effect
- Horse urine: no effect
Thermal resistance: -18°C to 100°C (-0.40F to 2120F)
