Pair of reinforced radius arms for Suzuki Jimny from 2018 Caster + 10° with johnny joint.
They are recommended for lift kit over 7cm, they replace without any modification to the original radius arms of the new Suzuki Jimny, they are the only ones to be galvanized and painted with epoxy powders, the attachments perfectly match the original attachments.
The bush on the frame has been replaced by a completely overhauled johnny joint, made internally by HM4X4 and specially designed for Jimny suspension.
The Jonny Joint is free to rotate along its axis allowing maximum excursion of the radius arm but is limited in lateral rotation so as not to affect road stability.
For the construction of the johnny joint, C45 steel is used and the sliding is guaranteed by two non-molded shells made from solid with a high quality semi-crystalline polymer, with high mechanical strength and very low friction coefficient, the use of these materials makes practically wear-free even with extreme uses and allows precise movements and excellent vibration absorption.
The installation of these radius arms involves the advancement of the axle by 20mm with consequent improvement of stability thanks to the longer wheelbase and an obvious improvement in the exit angle. 20mm is the maximum possible advance on the jimny, a greater advance would result in irreversible changes on the axle or the installation of very thick limit switches that would unnecessarily reduce the compression of the attitude as the axle would collide with the support of the panhard bar.
The caster angle is corrected by 10° to compensate for the rotation of the front axle caused by the lift kits, the correction of the caster allows the transmission shaft and especially the steering linkage to work with the correct angles.
