This suspension lift kit entirely made in Italy raises 6cm compared to the original layout and comes with a specific configuration for each model and engine of Landrover Defender, includes all the accessories useful for the optimal functioning of the suspension even with heavy use.

The set-up is available with specific calibration for standard or reinforced vehicles for particularly heavy vehicles, if a winch or heavy duty bumper with a weight of over 50kg is installed, springs with a suitable load will be provided, in the drop down menus located in high you can make the custom configuration of the trim by specifying all the features of your off-road vehicle.
Supports both front and rear shock absorbers are fully adjustable, are supplied pre-assembled with a standard height ideal for multipurpose use but the shock absorbers and spring cones included in the kit allow you to adjust the attitude independently so as to vary the maximum range of the suspension based on prevalent use.
The front and rear struts are replaced with new, stronger and longer struts so as to lengthen the wheelbase and improve stability on the road and the corners of attack and exit in fuosristrada.
At the front with the adoption of the new struts the caster angle is corrected in order to make the shaft work optimally and improve the steering geometry making the driving much more precise.
At the rear the rubber bushings on the frame are replaced by a completely revisable Jonny Joint spherical joint, made internally by HM4X4 and designed specifically for the suspension of the Defender, the fine pitch thread of the joint allows the millimetric adjustment of the length of the single strut to adjust the retraction of the rear axle and the working angle of the drive shaft optimally.
The Jonny Joint is free to rotate along its axis allowing maximum excursion of the strut but is limited in lateral rotation to not affect the stability on the road.
For the construction of the Jonny Joint C45 steel is used and sliding is guaranteed by two unprinted shells made from solid with a high quality semi-crystalline polymer, with high mechanical strength and very low coefficient of friction, the use of these materials it makes it practically free of wear even with extreme uses and allowing precise movements and an excellent absorption of vibrations.
The fixing points of the front panhard bar and of the springs on the bridges are moved with bolted supports to restore the correct geometry of the suspension varied by lengthening the step.
All the polyurethane bushings necessary for the installation of struts are supplied in the kit, even the original limit stop pads are replaced with polyurethane components of adequate thickness on the upside.
The original panhard bar is substituted with a reinforced and adjustable so as to restore the centering of the axle and adjust it to the upside.
The brake hoses are made entirely of an aeronautical braided PTFE tube covered in stainless steel braid with a clear antiabrasion polyurethane protection specific for off-road and not in PVC, as on car braided tubes.
The fittings are made of steel and not AVP, as for economic items, assembly takes place in accordance with SAE J 1401
The shock absorbers included in the kit have a body of 60mm and 20mm stem, they are bitube type with internal return stop on rubber resistant up to 5000kg, can be reviewed and recalibrated according to your needs.
The springs included in the kit are of progressive type with variable pitch, a spring with variable pitch during compression progressively hardens thus obtaining an extremely soft, comfortable and able to copy the ground but very stable on the road.
It is possible to choose the calibration of the springs:
- standard, very similar to the original trim, excellent off-road performance and perfect road stability, ideal for multi-purpose use of the vehicle;
- reinforced, to be chosen only if the vehicle has permanent loads at the rear of at least 250kg, ideal for fire-fighting vehicles, mobile workshops, or similar.

On Td5 and Td4 models it is recommended to install a front shaft with a double joint.
The lift kit consists of the following accessories:
- 4 progressive springs with variable pitch +6cm;

- 1 pair of front turrets adjustable from -100mm to +50mm;
- 1 pair of adjustable rear shock absorber supports -50mm to +20mm;
- 1 adjustable panhard bar with polyurethane bushings;
- 1 caster correction kit specific for each Defender model;
- 1 aeronautical braided brake hose kit specific for each Defender model;
- 1 support for advanced and extended panhard bar to restore the correct geometry;
- 1 pair of front struts with correct caster, reinforced and elongated;
- 1 Pair of shaped, reinforced and adjustable rear struts complete with supports to be bolted to the frame and joint Jonny Joint;
- 2 pairs of sloping and offset springs plates to restore the correct vertical between springs, axle and frame;
- 1 joint with Uniball of Motorsport type for rear trapeze;
- 1 kit complete with polyurethane bushings Made in Italy;
- 2 elongated limit bump stop pair with polyurethane pad.
The springs are made of high quality steel, are longer than the original ones, reinforced and with progressive effect, the progressive springs unlike the traditional ones have the variable pitch, ie the distance between the coils is not constant but varies along the its length, the stiffness of a spring equal to the material and diameter of the wire is given precisely by the number of turns and their pitch.
A progressive spring allows to insert more coils with respect to a traditional spring, resulting much softer, the coils with variable pitch during compression harden the spring progressively obtaining an extremely soft, comfortable and able to copy the ground but very stable on the road.
The main advantages in off-road of a progressive spring:
- greater ability to copy the terrain;
- greater excursion at equal length compared to a traditional spring;
- very stable in the lateral passages because crushing it stiffens;
- most absorption of sudden obstacles, as stiffens progressively brakes a possible obstacle (boulders, roots, etc.) without getting to buffer.
The main advantages on the road of a progressive spring:
- very stable on fast sections;
- very more comfortable than a traditional spring thanks to the high number of turns;
- it reduces the rolling in the corners to a minimum because crushing progressively stiffens.
