Pair of rear shock absorbers standard height, pressurized bitubo type, eye/eye connection, for Suzuki Jimny from 2018.
The pair of shock absorbers, 100% Made in Italy, are made with steel tubes for mechanical use internally lapped and fully galvanized to avoid corrosion.
Each shock absorber has a 50mm reinforced body and a 16mm oversized stem.
The bushings are made of 80 shore thermoplastic polyurethane specific for automotive use, resistant to grease, oil and fuel, much more resistant to deformation and wear than the standard rubbers.
All components are sintered for maximum calibration control and the seals are in graphite Teflon to improve smoothness and silence.
Inside there is a first internal bump stop in extension resistant up to 5000 kg and a second polyurethane bump stop that slows down the last 10 mm of stroke to avoid excessive stress on the frame supports; these limit switches can be used as a travel limit for the axle.
The shock absorbers can be adjusted and overhauled and if it is necessary to customize the adjustments to meet particular needs (trips to the desert, competitions, towing trolleys, prevalent use on snow, etc.) we offer the first free personalized calibration within the first year of purchase.
The overhaul of the HM4X4 shock absorber is guaranteed at a cost of 40.00 euros each.
The oil used inside the shock absorbers is from ROTHEN with a high viscosity index, this guarantees the maintenance of the calibration up to 200 °C, making them suitable even for heavy use and raids in the desert.
The pressurization is carried out with the innovative AIR DRYED technique which takes place in two phases. The shock absorber is pressurized with inert gas, after having created a high vacuum, completely extracting air and humidity from its interior. This allows to minimize the phenomena of oil emulsion and the creation of rust that humidity inevitably creates inside a non-pressurized shock absorber.
In addition to making the shock absorber more performing, the Air Dryed pressurization considerably extends the duration of the shock absorber over time and guarantees constant calibration even after years of use.
