Jeep Wrangler JL step slider
Step slider with electric step for Jeep JL 2-door.
These new third-generation under-door steps from Rock Slide Engineering are integrated with an electric step for easier off-road access.
They have an intelligent motor that allows the step to open and close steadily, even in harsh and cold weather conditions; and a suspension mode has been incorporated to minimize battery consumption.
When the door is opened, the step will unfold a full 12" from the slider body. After closing the door, the step automatically retracts and sits flush with the slider body.
They are made of 10 gauge steel and have a textured black powder-coated finish. The inner components of the slider are made of stainless steel and aluminum to prevent rust. This plug and play system is designed to use factory mounting points for installation without drilling. It uses self-contained wiring, so there is no need for splicing or rewiring on the Jeep. This allows you to maintain the manufacturer's warranty after installation.
This accessory is suitable for moderate off-road conditions. For more aggressive, extreme off-road conditions, an additional protective plate is recommended for added stability and protection.
