Ring and pinion Jeep Wrangler JL
Reinforced front ring and pinion for Jeep Wrangler JL produced from 2018.
They are made of SAE8620 steel with the Gleason process, are subsequently thermally hardened to resist wear and surface treated with black oxidation to make them extremely silent.
They are produced in the U.S.A. by the well-known Motive Gear company that for years has been producing components for the transmissions of American vehicles and Ultra4 vehicles.
The high construction precision makes the recording particularly simple, however we recommend having the installation carried out by a specialized workshop. In the Download section you will find the assembly instructions.
The main installation features are the following:
- differential case design type: M210/ Dana 30
- ring gear bolt quantity: 10
- ring gear rotation: Reverse.
From the drop-down menu select the desired ring and pinion ratio.
Specifications for 4.11 ratio:
- pinion gear tooth 9
- pinion spline 24
- ring gear tooth 37
Specifications for 4.88 ratio:
- pinion gear tooth 8
- pinion spline 28
- ring gear tooth 39
Specification for 5.13 ratio:

IMPORTANT. The replacement of a bevel gear is a job that requires professionalism, an installer can only perform it with suitable equipment and with the proper knowledge of its calibration. Incorrect assembly causes breakage or premature wear of the same.
