Reinforced rear ring and pinion for Jeep Wrangler JK produced from 2007 to 2018.
Made in the United States, by the well-known Motive gear company, which has been producing components for the transmissions of American vehicles and Ultra4 vehicles for years, they are made of SAE8620 steel with the Gleason process.
Thermally hardened to resist wear, they are surface treated with black oxidation to make them extremely silent.
The high construction precision makes the recording particularly simple, however we recommend having the installation carried out by a specialized workshop, in the Download section you will find the assembly instructions.
The main installation features are the following:
- differential case design type: Dana 44 (rubicon models)
- ring gear bolt quantity: 10
- rotation type: standard
From the drop-down menu select the desired ring and pinion ratio.
Specifications for 4.11 ratio:
- pinion gear tooth 9
- pinion spline 24
- ring gear tooth 37
Specifications for 4.88 ratio:

In the technical specifications you will find the recommended ratios for each model of Jeep Wrangler JK in proportion to the tires installed.
IMPORTANT. The replacement of a bevel gear is a job that requires professionalism, an installer can only perform it with suitable equipment and with the proper knowledge of its calibration. Incorrect assembly causes breakage or premature wear of the same.
We recommend the following ratios in relation to the tires used:
37 "tires
- 5.13 ratio for Rubicon models from 2012
- 5.38 ratio for Rubicon models up to 2011
- 5.13 ratio for all non Rubicon models from 2007 to 2016
35 "tires
- 4.88 ratio for Rubicon models from 2012
- 5.13 ratio for Rubicon models up to 2011
- 4.88 ratio for all non Rubicon models from 2012
- 5.13 ratio for all non Rubicon models up to 2011
33 "tires
- 4.56 ratio for all models
The ratio must also be chosen based on the use of the vehicle. The ratios we recommend restore the final reduction ratio to values very similar to the original, so as not to stress the other transmission parts. If you are using the Jeep Wrangler JK in extreme offroad, we recommend choosing a smaller ratio than the recommended ones. Contact us for personalized advice on choosing.
