Rock Slide Engineering's underdoor running boards with step for your classic Jeep TJ are made of steel and powder-coated with a textured black finish. Internal slider components are made of stainless steel and aluminum to prevent rust.
When the door is opened, the step unfolds nearly 30cm from the slider body and after closing the door, the step automatically retracts and sits flush with the slider body.
They are plug and play meaning they take advantage of the standard mounting points for installation without drilling. It uses a self-contained wiring harness, so no splicing or rewiring is required on your Jeep. This will allow you to maintain the manufacturer's warranty after installation.
These undercarriages are suitable for moderate off-road conditions. More aggressive trails require an additional skid plate for added stability and protection.
