Jeep JL step slider
Step slider with electric step for Jeep JL 4-door.
Rock Slide Engineering's new third-generation Step Slider is integrated with an electric step for easier off-road access. In this generation, an additional 2 inches has been added to the rear end of the step for better and safer access to the rear door.
They are equipped with smart motor technology that allows the step to open and close steadily, even in harsh and cold weather conditions. A sleep mode has been included to minimize battery consumption.
When the door is opened, the step will unfold a full 12" from the slider body. After closing the door, the step automatically retracts and sits flush with the slider body.
The guard is made of 10 gauge steel and has a textured black powder-coated finish. The internal components of the slider are made of stainless steel and aluminum to prevent rust. This plug and play system is designed to use factory mounting points for installation without drilling. It uses self-contained wiring, so there is no need for splicing or rewiring on the Jeep. This allows the manufacturer's warranty to be maintained after installation.
The Step Slider is suitable for moderate off-road conditions. More aggressive trails require an additional step slider protection plate for added stability and protection.
