Jeep JK step slider
Rock Slide Engineering's new third-generation step slider are integrated with an electric step for easier access on your JK.
In this new version, an additional 2 inches has been added to the rear end of the step for better and safer access to the rear door. They have a smart motor, and this improvement will allow the step to open and close consistently, even in harsh, cold weather conditions. A sleep mode has been included to minimize battery consumption.
When opening the door, the step deploys 12" from the slider body, and after closing the door, the step automatically retracts and sits flush with the slider body.
The step slider are made of steel and are powder coated with a textured black finish. The internal components of the slider are made of stainless steel and aluminum to prevent rust.
They are plug and play meaning they take advantage of the standard mounting points for installation without drilling. They use independent wiring, so there is no need for splicing or rewiring on the Jeep, and this allows the manufacturer's warranty to be maintained after installation.
These undercarriages are suitable for moderate off-road conditions. More aggressive trails require an additional skid plate for added stability and protection.
