They have a thick tubular design that offers increased resistance to bending and twisting and have a galvanized finish to resist corrosion, especially in muddy or wet environments.
They are adjustable to allow for differential tilt correction to correct the working angle of the driveshaft, so as to avoid breakage and/or annoying vibration and most importantly allow for the correct working angle of the steering linkage to avoid the infamous death wobble.
