Reinforced ring and pinion for Jeep CJ front differential produced from 1972 to 1986.
Produced by the well-known company Motive Gear, leader in transmission components, the ring is made of SAE8620 steel with the Gleason process. Thermally hardened to resist wear, it is surface treated with black oxidation to make it extremely silent.
Despite the high construction precision that makes the recording particularly simple, it is still advisable to have the installation carried out by a specialized workshop. In the Download section you will find assembly instructions.

ring gear bolt Quantity: 10
ring gear rotation: standard.

Specifications for 4.56 ratio:

Specification for 4.88 ratio:
- pinion gear tooth 8
- pinion spline 26
- ring gear tooth 39
IMPORTANT. The replacement of a bevel gear is a job that requires professionalism, an installer can only perform it with suitable equipment and with the proper knowledge of its calibration. Incorrect assembly causes breakage or premature wear of the same.
