Jeep beadlock wheels
EvoCorse Atlas BL alloy wheel for Jeep Wrangler JK/JL and Gladiator JT.
ATLAS BL is the newest wheel in EvoCorse's off-road range. The BL configuration, equipped with threaded holes for beadlock ring use, is designed for dual use (with and without beadlock).
In case the use of the beadlock ring is not necessary, EvoCorse has developed a protection ring (protection ring) useful to safeguard the threaded holes and the outer edge of the wheel. The sectional protection ring allows for color customization.
The ATLAS BL with BEADLOCK 17” is a 9X17" rim with a weight of about16.5 to 18.1 kg.
The ATLAS BL with PROTECTION RING 17“ is an 8X17” rim with a weight of about15.1 to 16.5 kg.
The Atlas BL is the evolution of years of experience and technical research by the EvoCorse team to achieve an extremely lightweight rim with the same strength as their other offroad rim ranges.
ATLAS BL TWO WHEELS IN ONE
Choosing Atlas BL means having two rims by actually purchasing only one. By opting for the version equipped with the protective ring, you will receive an 8x17” rim, perfect for on-road use that will stand out for its elegantly aggressive aesthetics that are truly unique. Later, you can convert it into a 9x17” rim ready for off-road use by purchasing the beadlock ring at a later date by incurring a small charge.
If, on the other hand, you decide to purchase the wheel with beadlock ring, you will immediately have a 9x17“ rim that is ideal for your off-road adventures, which can be converted to an 8x17” rim at a later date by purchasing the protective ring.
Beadlock literally translated means “bead lock.” The bead of a tire is the part in contact with the rim. The beadlock therefore is an accessory that must be applied to the rims and its function is to secure the bead of the tire to the rim so as to prevent beadlocking even when traveling at very low pressures (0.4 to 0.5 bar). Deflating the tires actually produces more grip, since it increases the contact area, especially on rocky terrain and muddy and sandy bottoms. In addition, lower pressure increases ride comfort on very rough terrain. On the other hand, however, there is the fact that traveling distances with low inflation pressures drastically increases the risk of bead-breaking. Thus arises the need for beadlocks.
Available in the standard colors white and matte black it can also be purchased in the colors: silver, gold, anthracite, glossy black, matte bronze, and glossy bronze. You can request a custom color of your chosen offroad beadlocks by paying an additional fee that will be quantified at the time of order.
