Front Heavy Duty transmission shaft, produced in Italy by a specialized company, installable on all Samurai, Sj413, Sj500 and Sj410 models.
This particular shaft has the same length of the original ones, but it is possible to lengthen it up to 5 cm more than the original, a feature that therefore makes it ideal on over + 5cm suspension kits or on shackle reverse kits.
These shafts are balanced at 2800 RPM and provided with high-quality DANA SPICER cruises, and not with agricultural components as the most of products in the market.
This particular shaft, designed to eliminate all vibration and any danger of breakage, is constructed by making the following improvements to the standard shafts:
- sliding joint with grease nipple, with a larger diameter than the original;
- ideal for raised setups, it avoids the insertion of extensions by canceling all forms of vibration;
- oversized and normalized crosses, therefore purchasable from any spare parts dealer, equipped with grease nipple, with working angle 10° higher than the original;
- high quality forged flanges that allow an 'inclination of the crosses up to 35° allowing them to be used even with raised setups;
- larger diameter tube, 60mm vs. 50mm of the original, carefully balanced to ward off any form of vibration;
- slide up to 10cm with RILSAN-coated metal protective o-ring shrouding, preserves the slide from dirt and damage caused by stones, sand and the like.
All Samurai, Sj413 and Sj500 of Japanese or Spanish manufacture recognizable by the chassis number beginning with the letters JSA, or VSE, have the flanges with 4 8mm holes and 45mm centering.
All Canadian-made Samurai and Sj recognizable by the chassis number beginning with the letters JS3, JC51, have flanges with 10mm holes and the 45mm centering.
