This system of drive shafts, which can be installed on the new Suzuki Jimny from 2018, leaves the axle only the task of transmitting traction, as the weight of the vehicle, and therefore all the forces to which the wheels are subject, are discharged onto the hubs.
With the same diameter and materials, a drive axle only is much more resistant than a drive axle with a standard system.
The diameter of the axle shaft is increased and machined so as to be housed in the bridge without having to turn the hub, the connection point with the splines is tapered and reinforced to prevent a breaking point from being created.
The particular alloy with which they are made makes them suitable even for very heavy uses.
For technical info see the technical section.
Drive shafts made in Italy with TPR1 steel with induction heat treatment on the splines which makes the keying extremely resistant, leaving the torsional features of the shaft body unaltered.
It is possible to install it with any type of rear differential, both original and with locking differential ARB, self-locking or Spool.
The kit is equipped with flanges to install on the back deck the front hubs of the Suzuki Samurai, very resistant and easy to find.
Installing the front hubs of the Samurai you can install the disc brakes and widens the track of 25mm per side, even the possible replacement of a semi-axis becomes very simple as you just have to remove the hub even with the wheel mounted to remove the axle shaft.
