The Falcon shock absorber features Volume Optimized Damping (VOD), to improve feedback, stability and vehicle control during low-speed, high-speed and off-road driving. Thanks to a linear digressive valve, as the piston compresses and rebounds, the oil flow is restricted creating a damping effect. VOD's faster acceleration increases the damping volume during low-speed riding, and reduces the shock's bottom out at full compression during higher speeds or on rough terrain.
