Double rod hydraulic piston designed for fully hydraulic steering.The piston has primary and secondary sealing o-rings to prevent oil loss, double triple lip seals to prevent debris and/or oil from entering the steering system.The stems are made from a single piece of 4340 chromium molybdenum steel, with a female thread at each end; and again they are equipped with a bushing that allows them to absorb high lateral loads.The piston cylinder is finished with black zinc plating.From the menu at the top you can choose the length of the piston considering that the one from: the 6 inch ram and clevis kit has 6 total inches of travel and is perfect for Toyota's and narrowed Dana 44s; the 8 inch ram and clevis kit has 8 total inches of travel and was made to work with Dana 44's and custom length Dana 60 applications; the 10 inch ram and clevis kit has 10 total inches of travel and is used for buggies and comp rigs with up to 45 degree steering radius.
