Defender monotube shock absorber
Pair of front monotube shock absorbers for Land Rover Defender.
Monotube pin/pin shock absorbers are high-pressure pressurized, from the menu above you can choose the deisdered length, completely Made in Italy.
The monotube shocks have the following features:
- billet machined ergal stem;
- pin on stem with hexagonal head for easy assembly;
- professional-grade silicone valve;
- T.I.G. welds where necessary for maximum strength and refined aesthetics;
- internally ground mechanical steel tube with 52mm outer diameter and 3mm thickness to resist impact and ensure no twisting;
- electrolytic galvanizing with Iridescent White finish and subsequent trivalent chrome passivation with surface hardness 80 HV;
- steel rod diam.20mm coated with CrVI free hard chrome with tolerance according to EN ISO 286-2;
- polyurethane bushings highly resistant to deformation and wear, are molded with 80 shore thermoplastic polyurethane specifically for automotive use that is impervious to grease, oil and fuel;
- sintered internal components for maximum control over wear-free calibration;
- graphitized Teflon seal band to improve suspension smoothness;
- dual polyurethane and steel limit switches to stop rebound travel in a controlled manner and not burden the linkages;
- ROTHEN Fork oil with very high viscosity index (Viscosity DIN 51562 40°C:13) specially designed for off-road use that ensures smooth calibration up to 200°C essential for heavy use such as races or desert raids;
- double calibration adjustment in rebound and compression (double-acting shock absorber), both at high and low speeds with shifting reed valves;
- linear piston with reed valve pack and adjustable double bypass for maximum comfort at low speeds;
- high-pressure pressurization with inert gas;
- 10-speed test bench calibration from 5 to 500 m/s to have perfect calibration under all conditions.
HM4X4 shock absorbers are recalibrated and overhauled in every component, HM4X4 shock absorber overhaul is guaranteed at a cost of 50 euros each for the life of the shock absorber.
In the first year after purchase, recalibration, upon request, is carried out free of charge in order to adapt the shock absorbers to your use of the vehicle.
